Example Studies:

For an Asian client, TCI quantified the current biopharmaceutical market, identified mammalian-based products under development in the biopharmaceutical pipeline, and determined their method of manufacture and forecast production and sales.

For an US-based client, TCI identified launched and Phase III compounds, their manufacturers, forecasts of sales, and production requirements.

A long-time TCI client commissioned TCI to identify and qualify custom manufacturing companies with the capability to immediately produce his recently approved biotech drug. The complicated manufacturing process required that Technology Catalysts International conduct its search on a global basis. Three very possible candidates were identified and negotiations are underway.

TCI assisted Glaxo Wellcome Biofarma S.A. in the sale of its cGMP Biotechnology Production Facility at Porriño, Spain. Originally constructed in 1976 by Wellcome for vaccine production, the first production of Wellferon® (alpha-interferon) took place at the site 1979. Glaxo Wellcome decided to cease production of this product due to a decline in demand. TCI brought five interested buyers to the site, and subsequent negotiations ultimately led to the sale of the facility with retention of most of the staff.
